Overview

MP9943 is a high-efficiency synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator with integrated internal high-side and low-side MOSFETs. It employs peak current mode control for fast loop response and delivers up to 3A output current. The MP9943 operates over a wide input voltage range of 3.0V to 36V with a quiescent current as low as 30μA. Standard features include thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, enable control, and a power-good indicator. Cycle-by-cycle current limiting and hiccup protection are provided during overload or output short-circuit conditions. The thermal shutdown feature ensures reliable and fault-tolerant operation. This device is a synchronous step-down switching regulator with integrated high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. The MP9943 delivers 3A output current at very high efficiency from light load to full load. Features include a wide input voltage range of 3.0V to 36V and a 410 kHz switching frequency. Internal soft-start limits inrush current during power-up. The MP9943 also integrates internal compensation to simplify loop design. Another key feature is its extremely low operating quiescent current, making it well-suited for battery-powered applications.
