Overview

MS14010ADDCR is a current-mode monolithic step-down switching regulator. It operates over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 40V, delivers 800mA continuous output current, and integrates two N-channel MOSFETs. The internal synchronous power switches eliminate the need for an external Schottky diode while maintaining high efficiency. Under light-load conditions, the regulator operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency and minimize output ripple. Current-mode control provides tight load transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. The MS14010ADDCR ensures robustness through short-circuit protection, thermal protection, current runaway protection, and input undervoltage lockout. The device is available in a 6-pin SOT23-6 package, requiring minimal external components for a compact solution.
