MS9708

MS9708/MS9714 are 8-bit/14-bit high-speed, low-power DACs. At a sample rate of 125MSPS, they deliver excellent AC and DC performance. The DVDD operating voltage range is +1.8V ~ +5.5V, and the AVDD operating voltage range is +2.7V ~ +5.5V. The low-power characteristics make them suitable for portable and energy-efficient applications. A segmented current source architecture combined with a proprietary switching technique reduces parasitic effects and enhances dynamic conversion performance. The device integrates an edge-triggered latch and a temperature-compensated bandgap reference, providing a complete monolithic DAC solution. Full-scale current output is 20mA with an output impedance greater than 100kΩ. Complementary current outputs support single-ended or differential applications; the current output pins can be connected to two output resistors to achieve two complementary single-ended voltage outputs. An internal 1.2V reference and a reference current control amplifier are included, allowing full-scale current adjustment via an external resistor or connection to an external reference, with output current ranging from 2mA to 20mA. Available in a TSSOP28 package.
