Overview
MSMP2451DJ-LF-Z is a monolithic step-down switching mode converter with an integrated power MOSFET. The device delivers up to 600mA output current over a wide input supply voltage range, with excellent load and line regulation. Under light load conditions, the regulator operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency and minimize output ripple. The minimum input voltage is as low as 4.5V and the maximum is 60V, with the ability to withstand higher transient voltages. Fault protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MSMP2451DJ-LF-Z requires very few common external components and is available in a SOT23-6 package.
