Overview
The MSMP2456GJ-Z is a monolithic, step-down switching mode converter with an integrated power MOSFET. It delivers up to 600mA output current over a wide input supply voltage range with excellent load and line regulation. Under light-load conditions, the regulator operates at reduced frequency to maintain high efficiency and low output ripple. The input voltage range spans from as low as 4.5V up to 60V, with the ability to withstand higher transient voltages. Fault protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MSMP2456GJ-Z requires minimal external components and is available in a SOT23-6 package.
