The MST1172TS-A is an IC dedicated to flasher controllers for electric bicycles and motorcycles. With a DC voltage rating of up to 45 V, it significantly enhances flasher controller reliability. The solution features a straightforward design that substantially reduces solution cost, improves production efficiency, lowers product failure rates, and enhances overall product quality. It is compatible with existing series-connected circuit designs — simply connecting it in series with the turn signal power line enables flasher control functionality, making it easy to apply. The IC integrates a fixed-frequency oscillator with comprehensive temperature and voltage compensation, ensuring precise flash frequency across varying operating environments for uniform and stable operation. This delivers a fundamental performance improvement in the overall flasher controller system compared to common discrete component solutions. Built-in multiple protection mechanisms guard against damage to the flasher controller and associated power supply lines under certain abnormal operating conditions, with automatic protection release once normal operation resumes. This not only improves the inherent reliability of the flasher controller but also reduces the likelihood of warranty returns for the complete electric bicycle.
