Overview
MSTPS61070DDCR is a high-efficiency, current-mode, synchronous boost converter that operates from input voltages as low as 0.9V, such as single or dual-cell alkaline batteries. The converter output voltage is adjustable up to 5.5V via an external resistor divider. Under light-load conditions, the MSTPS61070DDCR enters power-save mode to maintain high efficiency. The MSTPS61070DDCR provides a true output disconnect function, allowing the output voltage to fall to zero volts during shutdown without drawing any current from the input source. The MSTPS61070DDCR integrates a 0.5Ω N-channel MOSFET switch and a 0.6Ω P-channel synchronous rectifier, eliminating the need for an external Schottky diode. The device is available in a SOT23-6 package.
