Overview
MSY7208ABC is a fixed-frequency, current-mode boost converter in a 6-pin SOT-23 package, designed for small, low-power applications. The device switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of miniature, low-cost capacitors and inductors with heights of 2mm or less. Internal soft-start reduces inrush current and extends battery life. The MSY7208ABC features automatic switchover to pulse frequency modulation mode under light load conditions. The device also incorporates undervoltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage during output overload. The MSY7208ABC is available in a compact 6-pin SOT-23 package.
