Overview
MT3608B is a fixed-frequency, 6-pin SOT23 current-mode boost converter designed for small, low-power applications. Operating at a switching frequency of 1.2MHz, it allows the use of miniature, low-cost capacitors and inductors with heights of 2mm or less. Internal soft-start reduces inrush current and extends battery life. The MT3608B features automatic transition to pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode under light load conditions. It incorporates undervoltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage during output overload. The MT3608B is available in a compact 6-pin SOT-23 package.
