MT7845

MT7845 is a high power factor, non-isolated LED driver IC. It achieves full-cycle sensing through a floating ground, high-side sensing, buck converter architecture. By integrating an internal high-voltage supply circuit, MT7845 eliminates the need for startup resistors and supply diodes, reducing BOM cost. MT7845 operates in quasi-resonant mode, improving both efficiency and EMI performance. Additionally, through an internally integrated selectable maximum period control mode, it eliminates power-frequency flicker while ensuring sufficient demagnetization time. MT7845 integrates multiple protection features, including OVP, OCP, and over-temperature compensation, enhancing reliability, with all protections featuring auto-recovery. The built-in 600V high-voltage MOSFET simplifies the peripheral circuit.
