Overview

The MPX series capacitors feature a metallized polypropylene film non-inductive winding construction, with tinned copper-clad steel leads soldered to the metallized end margins of the capacitor element. The capacitor body is encapsulated in a UL94V-0 flame-retardant plastic case with flame-retardant epoxy resin. MPX series capacitors are widely used in interference suppressor and across-the-line capacitor circuits. Suitable for applications where capacitor failure does not present an electric shock hazard.
