Overview
OB3674Ax is an active transition mode power factor correction switch for AC-DC switch mode power supply applications. It integrates a demagnetization detector to ensure transition mode operation, a current sense comparator with leading edge blanking, and an input voltage detection module for automatic follower output voltage setting. OB3674Ax provides comprehensive protection features, including system OVP to eliminate output voltage runaway caused by load removal, VDD UVLO, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and inductor short-circuit protection. With the added system open-loop protection, OB3674Ax shuts down the system when the feedback loop is open. OB3674Ax is available in SOP7 and ASOP6 packages.
