Overview
OC5864 is a monolithic step-down switching mode converter with integrated power MOSFET. The OC5864 delivers 0.6A peak output current over a wide 5.5–60V input voltage range, with excellent line and load regulation. The OC5864 operates in PWM current mode, enabling easy loop stabilization and fast transient response. The OC5864 integrates protection features including cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The OC5864 is available in a SOT23-6 package with minimal external components. The OC5864 is a current mode buck regulator in which the EA output voltage is proportional to the peak inductor current. The OC5864 features a built-in 0.6ms soft-start, which prevents output voltage overshoot during startup.
