Overview
PJS6001SE is a high-efficiency monolithic synchronous step-down DC/DC regulator featuring a fixed-frequency, current-mode architecture. The device is available in an adjustable output version. Quiescent current in no-load condition is 70μA, dropping to <1μA in shutdown. The 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range makes it ideal for single-cell Li-Ion battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle enables low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems. PWM/PFM mode operation provides ultralow output ripple voltage for noise-sensitive applications. The switching frequency is internally set to 2MHz, allowing the use of small surface-mount inductors and capacitors. The 0.6V feedback reference voltage easily supports low output voltages.
