PL2303GC

PL2303GC is a single-chip USB to asynchronous serial data interface. - Fully compliant with USB 2.0 specification (Full-Speed mode), USB-IF certified (USB logo compliant), TID 40001838, compatible with UHCI/OHCI (USB 1.1), EHCI (USB 2.0), and xHCI (USB 3.1) host controllers. Royalty-free USB to Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. Highly integrated USB 1.1 FS transceiver with integrated termination and pull-up resistors to reduce external PCB components. Supports 256-byte OTPROM for USB device descriptor and GPIO custom configuration, directly programmable via USB port, unique ID per IC (for serial number). Supports bus-powered, self-powered, and high-power USB device configurations, Windows USB Selective Suspend (remote wakeup enabled), VBUS input detection, and 3.3V VBUS voltage operation. - General-purpose GPIO functions and routing logic provide easy-to-use multi-I/O capability, configurable I/O pin output drive strength, up to 16 GPIO pins available after configuration, optional clock output to external MCU. - Supports serial UART interface including RS232, RS422, RS485, flexible baud rate up to 12Mbps, 5/6/7/8 data bits, odd/even/mark/space/no parity, 1/1.5/2 stop bits, hardware flow control (CTS/RTS and/or DSR/DTR), software flow control (XON/XOFF), configurable remote wakeup pin, 1024-byte bi-directional data FIFO buffer (768-byte RX / 256-byte TX) for higher data throughput, configurable via OTPROM, configurable TX/RX LED pins, suspend pin control for RS232 transceivers, configurable UART signal inversion option. - Battery Charger (BC1.2) detection for fast battery charging. - Integrated self-generating precision clock generator with optional external crystal, integrated Power-On Reset (POR) circuit, integrated 5V to 3.3V LDO capable of supplying 80mA to external components, low operating power and USB suspend current, wide I/O voltage range (1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V), -40°C to 85°C operating temperature, 28-pin SSOP and 24-pin UQFN IC packages (RoHS compliant, lead-free green compound), pin-compatible with PL2303HXD (SSOP28).
