Overview

PT4211B is a continuous inductor current conduction mode buck constant current source, specifically designed to drive 1 to 3 series-connected LEDs. PT4211B accepts an input voltage range from 5V to 40V, with an adjustable output current up to 500mA. PT4211B integrates a power switch and employs high-side current sensing, with LED average current set via a single external resistor. The DIM pin accepts both analog dimming and PWM dimming over a wide range. When the DIM voltage falls below 0.25V, the power switch turns off and PT4211B enters a standby state with ultra-low operating current. PT4211B is available in a SOT23-5 package.
