PTVSHC3N18VU-HXY

The PTVSHC3N18VU TVS diode is specifically designed to replace multilayer varistors (MLVs) in portable applications such as mobile phones, laptops, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). It offers excellent electrical characteristics, including low clamping voltage, low leakage current, and high surge capability. The diode is designed to protect sensitive electronic components connected to power lines from overstress caused by ESD, EFT, and lightning strikes. The PTVSHC3N18VU comes in a DFN2X2-3L package and protects a single unidirectional line. It provides ESD protection up to ±30kV (contact and air discharge) per IEC61000-4-2, and can withstand a peak pulse current of up to 180A (8/20μs) per IEC61000-4-5.
