Overview

R49 is constructed with metallized polypropylene film, housed in a case made of UL 94V-0 compliant material, and encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin.

Applications

For EMI suppression filters in across-the-line applications requiring X1 safety classification. Suitable for applications where capacitor failure does not result in a shock hazard. Not suitable for "series with mains" type applications. X1 class capacitors are intended only for equipment permanently connected to the mains where the connection cannot be loosened without the use of tools.
