RY3409

RY3409 is a high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator using a constant-frequency, current-mode architecture. The device is available in an adjustable output version. Quiescent current is 40µA at no load, dropping to <1µA in shutdown. The 2.5V to 6V input voltage range makes it ideal for single-cell Li-ion battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle enables low-dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems. PWM/PFM mode operation provides ultralow output ripple voltage for noise-sensitive applications. The switching frequency is internally set to 1.5MHz, allowing the use of small SMT inductors and capacitors. The 0.6V feedback reference voltage facilitates easy support for low output voltages. The RY3409 requires a minimal number of standard external components and is available in a space-saving SOT23-5 package.
