SCT2612STER

SCT2612 is a 1A step-down converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 60V, integrating a 220mΩ high-side MOSFET. The device employs peak current mode control with pulse-skip modulation support, enabling high efficiency under light-load or standby conditions. SCT2612 features an externally programmable switching frequency from 100kHz to 1.2MHz via a resistor, providing flexibility for optimizing efficiency or external component size. The converter supports external clock synchronization over a frequency range of 100kHz to 1.2MHz. SCT2612 allows conversion from high input voltage to low output voltage, with a minimum on-time of 100ns for the high-side MOSFET. The device provides a fixed 4ms soft-start time to prevent inrush current during output voltage ramp-up. SCT2612 features internal loop compensation, simplifying loop compensation design. The device offers cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown protection, output overvoltage protection, and input undervoltage lockout. The device is available in an 8-pin ESOP-8 package.
