SCT2A23 is a 1.2A step-down DC-DC converter with a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 100V, integrating a 530mΩ high-side MOSFET and a 220mΩ low-side MOSFET. The device employs Constant On-Time (COT) control mode and supports PFM mode with a typical quiescent current of 160uA, enabling high efficiency under light-load or standby conditions. SCT2A23 offers selectable operating modes for light-load flexibility: Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) for high efficiency at light load, Ultrasonic Mode (USM) to maintain switching frequency above the audible range under light-load conditions, and Forced Pulse Width Modulation (FPWM) for reduced output ripple and support of isolated buck topologies. SCT2A23 provides cycle-by-cycle current limit protection, thermal shutdown protection, output overvoltage protection, and overtemperature protection. The device is available in an 8-pin thermally enhanced ESOP-8 package.
