SD692XS is a control IC dedicated to non-isolated LED driver applications, featuring a floating-ground Buck topology with an integrated 600V high-voltage power MOSFET. In this topology, the IC samples the inductor current internally and utilizes an internal error amplifier to form a closed-loop feedback network, achieving high constant-current accuracy and high line/load regulation. The IC also incorporates built-in PFC control, automatically achieving a high PF value across the full input voltage range. Its critical conduction mode reduces switching losses and improves system conversion efficiency. SD692XS integrates multiple protection features, including output open-circuit protection, output short-circuit protection, cycle-by-cycle over-current protection, and over-temperature protection. SD692XS also integrates a built-in VCC Zener diode, enabling auxiliary winding-free operation while maximizing the output voltage range. SD692XS features ultra-low startup current and operating current, capable of efficiently driving high-brightness LEDs across the full input voltage range (85VAC~265VAC).
