Overview
The SGM61230 is a synchronous buck regulator IC that integrates COT control, high-side and low-side power switches on a single chip to minimize switching losses and conduction losses. With ultra-low RDS(ON) power switches and proprietary COT control, this regulator IC achieves both maximum efficiency and maximum switching frequency simultaneously, minimizing external inductor and capacitor sizes and thus the overall solution footprint. Due to the high integration of the SGM61230 IC, application circuits based on this regulator IC are straightforward. For a given target application specification, only the input capacitor CIN, output capacitor COUT, output inductor L, and feedback resistors (R1 and R2) need to be selected.
