SL401

SL401 is a constant-current driver IC with a default output current of 10mA. The output current can be set up to 65mA via a bias resistor, making it suitable for driving low-power LEDs. An external transistor can also be connected to the SL401 output pin, utilizing SL401's feedback control function to achieve dimming control for high-power LEDs above 65mA. The output current is determined by the bias resistor and remains stable regardless of the number of series-connected LEDs, the forward voltage of the LEDs, or variations in supply voltage. The discrete package offers lower integration cost, smaller package size, fewer solder joints, and higher reliability. With its compact footprint and low cost, SL401 is well suited for driving low-power LEDs. The resistor-based biasing minimizes voltage drop, with an output current range of 10mA to 65mA, high current accuracy, and effective LED protection.
