SL6243Q is a highly integrated, high-performance, low-power USB 2.0 hub controller IC. The chip adopts MTT technology, supports single 5V power supply, and integrates internal 5V-to-3.3V and 3.3V-to-1.2V LDOs, requiring only external filter capacitors. The chip features a built-in reset circuit and low-power design. It fully supports USB 2.0 high-speed (480MHz), USB 1.1 full-speed (12MHz), and USB 1.0 low-speed (1.5MHz) modes. The chip integrates one upstream port supporting HS/FS mode and four downstream ports supporting HS/FS/LS mode, along with an integrated 12MHz-to-480MHz PLL. Using multi-transaction translator technology, each downstream port has a dedicated transaction translator, providing 12Mbps bandwidth per port when connected to full-speed devices. The chip integrates a 1.5KΩ pull-up resistor on the upstream port, 15KΩ pull-down resistors on downstream ports, and 45Ω high-speed termination resistors. The hub implements one control endpoint (maximum packet size 64 bytes) and one interrupt endpoint (maximum packet size 1 byte). Supports self-powered and bus-powered modes, custom VID/PID configuration via external EEPROM, and BC 1.2 charging protocol. Supports GANG mode over-current detection with corresponding power output control, and supports 5-LED and single-LED indicator options. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C.
