SLM6800

The SLM6800 is a two-cell lithium battery synchronous boost charging circuit designed for 5V adapters. It integrates full on-chip power MOSFETs and a synchronous boost converter operating at 750kHz switching frequency, achieving charging efficiency of up to 92% or higher with a maximum charging current of 1.5A. The device incorporates a complete charge termination circuit, automatic recharge, and a preset charging voltage of 8.4V with ±1% accuracy. Multiple protection features are integrated on-chip, including reverse current protection, output short-circuit protection, and IC and battery temperature protection. It features adaptive input current capability to prevent adapter overload, making it suitable for a wide range of DC devices and standard USB charging equipment. The device integrates 20V power MOSFETs capable of withstanding voltages up to 20V, with built-in undervoltage and overvoltage protection for high reliability — no additional surge or overvoltage protection components are required. The SLM6800 is housed in a compact QFN4x4-16L package, helping to minimize PCB footprint.
