SM8002AAX

SM8002 is a high-efficiency 1.5MHz synchronous buck converter operating over a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, capable of delivering up to 2A of output current. It integrates high-side and low-side MOSFETs with ultra-low on-resistance to minimize conduction losses. The 1.5MHz quasi-constant switching frequency allows the use of small external inductors and capacitors. The device employs a constant off-time, peak current mode control scheme for fast transient response and high efficiency at light loads. It also provides cycle-by-cycle current limit protection, output undervoltage protection, and over-temperature protection. Only input and output capacitors, an inductor, a feedback resistor divider, and a feed-forward capacitor need to be selected according to the target application specifications. The SM8002 is available in a compact SOT23-5 or SOT23-6 package.
