The SN3350 is a buck-type inductor continuous conduction mode (CCM) driver IC, designed for applications where the supply voltage exceeds the forward voltage of one or more series-connected LEDs. The input voltage range is 6V to 40V, with an output current of up to 750mA and output power of up to 30W. The SN3350 integrates an internal power switch and employs high-side current sensing, allowing the average operating current to be set via an external resistor. The output current can also be configured by applying a control signal to the ADJ pin. The ADJ pin accepts either a DC voltage or a PWM signal, providing either a DC or pulsed output current. When the ADJ pin voltage falls below 0.2V, the IC shuts down and enters a low-power mode. Available package options include SOT23-5, SOT89-5, and SOP-8. The SOT23-5 package supports up to 350mA output current, while the SOT89-5 and SOP-8 packages support up to 700mA output current.
