Overview

The SSP9492 is a monolithically integrated, programmable output current switching buck constant-voltage converter IC, operating over a wide input voltage range with excellent load regulation and line regulation. The device incorporates multiple protection features, including cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting, soft-start, overvoltage protection, over-temperature protection, and short-circuit protection, making it highly suitable for wide input voltage buck applications. Its proprietary soft-switching ZVS technology, combined with low switching loss super-junction medium-voltage MOSFETs, achieves conversion efficiency of up to 93%. The IC supports various typical circuit configurations, such as 48V input/12V output at 2.5A, 19V input/5V output at 4A, 85V input/12V output at 2A, and 12V input/5V output at 3A.
