Overview
SY7072 is a high-efficiency synchronous boost converter designed for single-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries, or two-to-three-cell alkaline, NiCd, or NiMH battery-powered applications. Its minimum input voltage can be as low as 1.8V. The device uses an NMOS as the main switch and a PMOS as the synchronous switch. In shutdown mode, the SY7072 can disconnect the output from the input. When the input voltage exceeds the regulated output voltage, the SY7072 automatically enters bypass mode.
