Overview
SY8104I is a high-efficiency 500kHz synchronous step-down DC/DC regulator capable of delivering up to 4A load current. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 18V and integrates both main and synchronous switches with ultra-low on-resistance RDS(ON) to minimize conduction losses. The SY8104I employs a instant-on PWM architecture to achieve fast transient response in high step-down ratio applications while maintaining high efficiency at light loads. Furthermore, it operates at a quasi-constant frequency of 500kHz to minimize inductor and capacitor sizes.
