Overview

UMW TL431 is a series of three-terminal adjustable voltage regulators with guaranteed thermal stability over the operating temperature range. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref and 36V using two external resistors. The device features a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.27Ω, and the active output circuit provides very sharp turn-on characteristics, making it an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications.
