Overview
This device is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator whose output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.495V) and 36V using two external resistors. It features a typical output impedance of 0.15 Ω. The active output circuit provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making it an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in a wide range of applications, including on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, and power-on/power-off control.
