Overview
TL431ASxx - xx - MS is a series of three-terminal adjustable voltage regulators with guaranteed thermal stability over the applicable temperature range. The output voltage can be set to any value between the reference voltage (approximately 2.5 V) and 40 V using two external resistors. The typical dynamic output impedance of these devices is 0.2 Ω. The active output circuit features a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making these devices excellent replacements for Zener diodes in many applications.
