Overview
TL431BSxx - xx - MS is a series of three-terminal adjustable voltage regulators with guaranteed thermal stability over the applicable temperature range. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 40V using two external resistors. These devices have a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2Ω. The active output circuit provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making these devices an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications.
