Overview
TL431IDxxx - MS is a series of three-terminal adjustable voltage regulators with guaranteed thermal stability over the applicable temperature range. Using two external resistors, the output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5 V) and 40 V. These devices have a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2Ω. The active output circuit provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making these devices an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications.
