Overview
TL432 is a three-terminal adjustable shunt regulator whose output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 1.25V) and 18V using two external resistors. The active output circuit provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making it an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications, including on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, and power supply on/off control.
