The TLV62150x device is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC-DC converter optimized for high power density applications. The device features a typical switching frequency of up to 2.5MHz, allowing the use of small inductors, and provides fast transient response with high output voltage accuracy by utilizing the DCS-Control™ topology. With a wide operating input voltage range of 4V to 17V, this device is well suited for systems powered by lithium-ion or other batteries and 12V intermediate power rails. The output voltage ranges from 0.9V to 5V, supporting up to 1A continuous output current (using 100% duty cycle mode). The output voltage startup ramp is controlled by the soft-start pin, enabling operation as a standalone power supply or in a tracking configuration. Power sequencing can also be achieved by configuring the enable and open-drain power-good pins. In power-save mode, the device draws approximately 19μA quiescent current based on the input voltage (VIN). The device automatically and seamlessly enters power-save mode at light loads, maintaining high efficiency across the entire load range. In shutdown mode, the device turns off with a supply current of less than 2μA. The device is available in a 3mm×3mm (RGT) 16-pin Very Thin Quad Flat No-Lead (VQFN) package.
