Overview
The TLV902x and TLV903x are dual and quad comparator families. This family offers low input offset voltage, an integrated power-on reset (POR) circuit, and fault-tolerant inputs, featuring an excellent speed-power combination with a propagation delay of 100 ns. The operating voltage range is from 1.65 V to 5.5 V, and the quiescent supply current per channel is 18 μA. This device family also includes power-on reset (POR) performance, which ensures that the output remains in a known state until the minimum supply voltage is reached, and only after a short period of time does the output start to respond to the input. This prevents output transients during system power-up and power-down. Additionally, these comparators do not produce output phase reversal, and the fault-tolerant input voltage can rise up to 6 V without damaging the device. Therefore, the comparators in this family are well-suited for precise voltage monitoring in harsh and noisy environments. The TLV902x comparators have an open-drain output stage that can be pulled below or above the supply voltage, making them suitable for low-voltage logic and level shifters. The TLV903x comparators have a push-pull output stage that can sink/source milliamperes of current when controlling LEDs or driving capacitive loads such as MOSFET gates. The TLV902x and TLV903x are specifically designed for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and are available in standard leaded and leadless packages.
