TM1652 is a control IC dedicated to driving LEDs, digital tubes, and dot matrix displays. The chip integrates digital communication circuitry, decoding circuitry, data latches, an oscillator, and LED driver circuitry. Communication uses an asynchronous serial protocol; since the chip only receives data from the MCU, single-wire communication is achieved using only one TX port of the MCU. For display driving, the chip employs dynamic scanning with two selectable display modes, supporting 8-level segment drive current adjustment and 16-level digit duty cycle adjustment. The TM1652 incorporates a built-in blanking optimization circuit. This product is widely used in various consumer electronics applications, offering excellent performance and reliable quality.
