TMUX7221DGSR

The TMUX722x are dual-channel, 1:1 (single-pole single-throw, SPST) CMOS switches with latch-up protection. These devices can be powered by a single supply (4.5 V to 44 V), dual supply (±4.5 V to ±22 V), or asymmetric supply (e.g., VDD = 12 V, VSS = -5 V). The TMUX722x supports bidirectional analog and digital signals from VSS to VDD on the source (Sx) and drain (D) pins. The TMUX722x can be enabled or disabled by controlling the SEL pin to turn on signal path 1 (S1 to D1) or signal path 2 (S2 to D2). All logic control inputs support logic levels from 1.8 V to VDD, and are compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic while operating within the valid supply voltage range. A failsafe logic circuit allows voltage to be applied to the control pins before the supply pins, protecting the device from potential damage. For more information, refer to Section 7.3.5. The TMUX72xx family features latch-up protection to prevent unwanted high-current events between parasitic structures within the device, typically caused by overvoltage events. Latch-up conditions generally persist until the supply rail is powered down and may result in device failure. The latch-up protection enables the TMUX72xx family of switches and multiplexers to be used in harsh environments.
