Overview
Three-terminal adjustable shunt voltage regulator with output voltage settable to any value between Vref (approximately 1.24V) and 18V via two external resistors. The device features a typical output impedance of 0.05Ω. The active output circuit provides a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making it an excellent replacement for Zener diodes in many applications, including on-board voltage regulation, adjustable power supplies, and power-on/power-off sequencing.
