Overview
TP62565 is a high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator featuring a fixed-frequency, current-mode architecture. An adjustable version is available. Quiescent current at no load is 40 μA, dropping to <1 μA in shutdown. The 2.5 V to 6 V input voltage range makes the TP6815S5 well suited for single-cell Li-ion battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle enables low-dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems. PWM/PFM mode operation provides very low output ripple voltage for noise-sensitive applications. The switching frequency is internally set at 1.5 MHz, allowing the use of small SMD inductors and capacitors. The 0.6 V feedback reference voltage readily supports low output voltages. The TP62565 is available in a SOT23-5 package.
