Overview
The TP7820S6 is a constant-frequency, current-mode boost converter designed for small, low-power applications. The device switches at 1.2MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low-cost capacitors and inductors with heights of 2mm or less. An internal soft-start function reduces inrush current and extends battery life. The TP7820S6 incorporates undervoltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage during output overload conditions. The device is available in an environmentally compliant SOT23-6 package.
