TP8525

The TP8525 is a step-down LED constant-current driver operating in fixed off-time control mode, designed for efficiently driving multiple LEDs. It employs a closed-loop average-current constant-current architecture, making the output current insensitive to inductance variations during system operation, thereby improving output current regulation accuracy. It is suitable for non-isolated step-down LED constant-current driver circuits with an input voltage range of 5~100V. An integrated power transistor allows the average LED output current to be set via an external resistor. High/low brightness mode switching is achievable by applying high or low logic levels to the MODE pin. Minimal external components are required, reducing system cost and board space. Integrated PWM dimming and analog dimming functions provide a simple and convenient dimming interface. Multiple protection features are integrated to ensure system stability and reliability, including LED output short-circuit protection, LED output overcurrent protection, intelligent chip temperature control, and VDD undervoltage lockout protection.
