TP8816B

TP8816 is a step-down LED constant-current driver operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM), designed to efficiently drive multiple LEDs. It employs an average-current closed-loop constant-current control scheme, which significantly improves output current regulation accuracy. The TP8816 is particularly suited for non-isolated buck LED constant-current driver circuits with an input voltage range of 8~100V. The TP8816 integrates an internal power transistor. The average LED output current can be set via an external resistor, and high/low brightness mode switching can be achieved by applying a high or low logic level to the MODE pin. When the MODE pin is driven high, the LED output operates at 50% low-brightness mode; when driven low, the LED output operates at 100% high-brightness mode. This requires minimal external components to implement LED brightness mode switching, greatly reducing system cost and board area.
