Overview
TPBL8028CB5G is a high-efficiency monolithic synchronous buck regulator featuring a constant-frequency, current-mode architecture. The device is available in an adjustable output version. Quiescent current is 40μA at no load, dropping to <1μA in shutdown. The 2.5V to 6V input voltage range makes it ideally suited for single-cell Li-Ion battery-powered applications. 100% duty cycle enables low dropout operation, extending battery life in portable systems. PWM/PFM mode operation provides ultralow output ripple voltage for noise-sensitive applications. The switching frequency is internally set to 1.5MHz, allowing the use of small surface-mount inductors and capacitors. The 0.6V feedback reference voltage readily supports low output voltages. TPBL8028CB5G is available in a SOT23-5 package.
