TPQ80302-QF6R-S

TPQ80302 is an asynchronous switching boost converter integrating an 80V, 110mΩ power switch and a 2.1Ω load switch. The device can be configured for various standard switching regulator topologies, including boost, SEPIC, and flyback. It features a wide input voltage range up to 80V, supporting input voltage applications from multi-cell batteries or 5V, 12V, 24V, and 48V power rails. The TPQ80302 employs peak current mode PWM control to regulate the output voltage. The switching frequency is programmable from 100kHz to 2.2MHz via an external resistor. The TPQ80302 integrates an 80V, 2.1Ω load switch to disconnect the load from the input voltage during shutdown. With this load switch, the device features adjustable DC startup inrush current limiting. When the output voltage approaches the input voltage, the device enters switching mode soft-start. When the output voltage on the VOUT pin falls below the input voltage, the TPQ80302 provides hiccup mode output short-circuit protection. The device also features cycle-by-cycle current limiting under overload conditions. The TPQ80302 is available in a 20-pin, 3.5×3.5mm QFN package with an exposed thermal pad.
