The TPS3808E-Q1 series microprocessor supervisory circuits monitor system voltages from 0.4V to 5V. An open-drain RESET signal is asserted when the SENSE voltage falls below a preset threshold or when the manual reset (MR) pin is driven low. After both the SENSE voltage and MR pin return above their respective thresholds, the RESET output remains low for a user-adjustable delay period. The TPS3808E-Q1 devices use a precision voltage reference to achieve 0.5% threshold accuracy. The reset delay time can be set to 20ms by leaving the CT pin open, set to 300ms by connecting the CT pin to VDD through a resistor, or adjusted from 1.25ms to 150s by connecting the CT pin to an external capacitor. The TPS3808E device features an ultra-low typical quiescent current of only 0.6μA, making it ideal for battery-powered applications. The TPS3808E-Q1 is available in a SOT-23-6 package and is fully specified over a temperature range of −40°C to 125°C (TJ).
