The TPS51275B-1 is a cost-effective dual synchronous buck controller designed for notebook system power solutions. The device integrates 5V and 3.3V LDO regulators and requires minimal external components. It can use the 260kHz VCLK output to drive an external charge pump, generating gate drive voltage for load switches without degrading the efficiency of the main converter. The TPS51275B-1 delivers both high efficiency and fast transient response while providing a combined power-good signal. The adaptive on-time D-CAP control scheme ensures convenient and efficient operation. The device supports an input voltage range of 5V to 24V with 5V and 3.3V output voltage options. The TPS51275B-1 is available in a 20-pin 3mm×3mm WQFN package, rated for a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
